Summer party decor for outdoors
If you’re planning to throw a garden party this summer, there are a few things that need to be planned for. Besides food and music, you should also consider decorating your outdoor summer party. The decorations you choose could be tailored to a particular theme or you could just spice up your garden with these handy tips.
Bright flower arrangements
Fresh flowers are perfect for any event and occasion. When throwing an evening party, it’s important to make sure you choose bright colours. If you use darker or pastel colours, they may not look good in low light. Bright shades of yellow, orange, red, pink and similar colours look great. You don’t want too much foliage, as it usually doesn’t look good in low light.
Lighting of candles
Speaking of lighting, this is another important part of summer party outdoor decoration. You want to create a great atmosphere and lighting can take many forms. Candles are great for your tables. Of course, you want to make sure they don’t go out, and you don’t want to risk a fire. Therefore, you can place them inside tall glass cylinders or mason jars. Make sure there are no flowers or foliage hanging over the candle.
Suspended arrangements and lighting
You can also light up and decorate the rest of your garden for your summer party. String of lights to illuminate the darkest corners. You can place some garden lights along the walkway (if applicable) so your guests know where to walk. You can also hang garlands and even a chandelier of flowers if you have an awning or other similar covered spot in your garden.
If you prefer, you can use a decoration for an outdoor summer party made with fresh flowers or silk flowers. If you’re using silk flowers, be sure to remove the decorations and store them in a cool, dry, dark place so you can use them again when you host another party in the future.
