I am going to go give you a quick run through of which flowers complement each style.

Casual Easy Living:

People who live the lives in a casual manner tend to focus on the simple pleasures of life. The homes they live in may consist of furniture with light pine, natural woods, bleached oak and cotton in neutral tones. These all come together to give the home a kind of stress busting feeling. The flowers which can be added to the home will balance out the effect of the stress busting feeling. Some flowers which will be useful are flowering or green plants like cyclamen, kalanchoe, pothos or ivy. Flowers such as sunflowers, daisies, delphinium or tulips can be placed in a clear glass vase to create a symbol of poetry within the home.

Classic Traditional:

The classic home is a symbol of impressive architecture. It will has impressive front doors, foyers and individually decorated rooms. Elements in the home include classic furniture and elegant antiques. Seeing as this is a classic home as such a classic arrangement of flowers needs to be interpreted into the house. Flowers such as roses, gladiola, iris, carnations or lilies are beautiful flowers to complement a classic home.

Modern Contemporary:

The modern home is sleek and clean. Smooth surfaces are included in the design of the property. Graceful fabrics such as colourful silks or leather accent steel are well represented in the home. As such bold, exotic flowers are needed to add colour to the house so flowers like, anthuriums, heliconia, callas and orchids. These flowers complement the houses open spaces well. The flowers should be placed in frosted glass vases or decorative pottery to complete the dramatic effect.

Victorian:

The Victorian home should have a feeling of softness and romance. Features like velvets, satins, lace and organza help to give off these feelings. Pastel colours should be used to heighten the senses. The flowers needed for this property need to be fragrant such as roses, peonies, lavenders and freesias. The colours these flowers need to be has to represent the romance and softness of the home. So colours like pale peach, pink, yellow and cream need to be used. The flowers that need to be placed in vases of clear glass, crystal and silver to finish off the romantic effect.
