Party flowers to improve your décor
If you are planning on hosting a party, even if you are just a handful of guests, you want to make sure that it’s memorable. The right party flowers can make all the difference. Given current restrictions, many people have postponed such events like weddings. However, this does not mean that you cannot plan ahead. Here are some flower tips for your next event.
Colour here and there
Whether you are hosting the event at your home or at a hired venue, there are bound to be several areas that could use sprucing up. These include entrance halls, lobbies and any other room that your guests will pass through on their way to the main reserved dining area.
Decorating seating areas
Your guests will spend most of the evening in the seating and dining area. For this reason, you want to make sure that all of your tables are decorated with party flowers. They don’t need to be lavish or expensive. They can be as simple as you like. Choose a colour scheme or theme and stick with it throughout the room. You can also add some floral décor to your buffet table if you have one.
Gift table décor
If you have a gift table, you can spruce it up with some party flowers. Again, you want to stick with the theme or colour scheme of the event in order to ensure consistency. It does not need to be a large bouquet but you should not leave the table empty either.
Restrooms
Many people forget just how much time guests spend in the restroom at different events. Party flowers can help make this part of the venue or your home that much more welcoming. Even if your guests don’t take much notice of the flowers in your bathroom, subconsciously you can rest assured that they have an effect.
Last, but not least, remember that you don’t need to choose the largest or most expensive party flowers. If you are on a tight budget, ask your florist about their seasonal bouquets and other options for cheap flowers. You may even be able to benefit from free flower vases with your order if you take the time to shop around.
