How to give the most sophisticated gift

At some point in our lives most of us have experience the joy of receiving flowers. According to recent research by The Michael Cohen Group, both women and men want to know more about buying flowers.

To help people know which flowers are the best flowers to give for certain occasions or moods the Society of American Florists (SAF) teamed up with floral designer Rebecca Cole. Together they came up with ideas to help people become a sophisticated floral gift giver.

Cole said, “It’s easy to become a connoisseur of flowers and plants. And, like knowing about fine wines or great foods, knowing even the basics about flowers will help people feel more self-assured throughout their lives, from gift-giving to weddings to entertaining.”

The Michael Cohen Group research reveals how much people love to give and receive flowers in equal measure. 92% of women remember the last time that they received a bouquet of flowers and 97% of men and women remember the last time that they sent a bouquet of flowers.

The people who were researched claimed that sending or receiving a bouquet of flowers was a feeling like no other because it created lasting members and made people, the sender and receiver, feel cared about and special. Seeing flowers in the wild also helps people appreciate flowers when they are vibrant and full of life.

Rebecca Cole added, “With a gift of flowers, you know that someone is thinking of you right now. It’s the memory of the gift and the emotions that last forever”.

88% of people involved in the research claim flowers change your mood for the better. 99% think a person who sends flowers are thoughtful. 89% think people who send flowers are sophisticated and 83% like the surprise of receiving flowers when they are not expecting them.

So when your thinking of the next gift to send to a loved one remember that flowers are the perfect gift to be given.
