More than flowers for Valentine’s Day

There is no denying the fact that fresh flowers are the most popular gift for Valentine’s Day. You may even notice that there are plenty of red roses on display at your local florist as well as other lovely red flowers. When buying flowers for Valentine’s Day, it’s always good to keep in mind that a little something extra can go a very long way.

One popular gift that you can include when sending a romantic bouquet of flowers is chocolates. Like red roses, chocolates are a popular romantic gift and, when you add chocolates to your flower order, you can be sure that your florist will supply the very best luxury chocs! If, for whatever reason, you are not sure if your Valentine will enjoy the chocolates supplied by your florist, you could buy a box of their favourites and include it when you present them with the bouquet.

Another great idea is to include a cuddly stuffed toy. They are available in various shapes and sizes so you can search for one yourself or have your florist add one to your flower order. The advantage of ordering a stuffed animal to go with your flowers is that they will be delivered together and you can even have the florist make the delivery to your Valentine on your behalf if you wish!

If you are a hopeless romantic, you can visit a nearby knick knack shop and browse around for anything that your Valentine will find cute or romantic. Heart-shaped candles, a coffee mug a romantic message or heart, or even a fluffy cushion with “I love you” written on it could be just what you need to make your Valentine smile!

For those who are not on a particularly tight budget, you could go so far as to choose a stylish bracelet, necklace, or another item of jewellery. Make sure that you only go all out if you are in a serious relationship. Usually jewellery is reserved for serious relationships so make sure that the value of the gift is appropriate.
