Flower deliveries 7 days a week

In the past, when we needed a fresh flower bouquet, we would make our way to our local florist. Flower shops are often open 6 or 7 days a week which is what made them the convenient choice on weekends in particular. However, online florists are stepping up their game too and there are many who now offer flower deliveries 7 days a week.

When you need to order flowers, you will notice that the florist will allow you to select a delivery date. Some florists only offer flower delivery on weekdays but there are those that offer delivery on Saturdays and Sundays. This is particularly handy since occasions don’t always occur from Monday to Friday.

Valentine’s Day is on the 14th of February each year. This fixed date means that, every few years, we will celebrate on a Saturday or Sunday. Fresh flowers are easily the most popular romantic gift for this occasion and, the fresher the better. If you ordered a bouquet of roses and had the delivery made the day before or even two days before, you would need to store the bouquet and tend to it until you’re ready to present it to your partner. This also means that you will need to keep the flower arrangement somewhere safe where the intended recipient won’t see it before the time.

Mother’s Day is always on a Sunday which means that you would normally have to place your order and have them delivered in advance. Just like Valentine’s Day flowers, you will have to store the bouquet somewhere safe and sheltered from the elements.  You cannot let your flowers get too cold or warm. They will also need to be kept away from pets, children, and anything else that could result in damage. If you are ordering flowers to be delivered on the day, then you will need to make sure that you are home to receive them. If you plan on enjoying the day out, then by all means, have the bouquet delivered a day early and present them immediately as a kind of taste of what’s to come.

These two occasions are easy to plan for, but there are also unexpected occasions to consider. For example, you can’t always plan the exact arrival date of a new baby. The doctors can estimate but it’s all just an educated guess. When you welcome a new little one into the world, the day of the week should not affect your flower order. You should be able to order same day flowers or next day flowers any day of the week.

The same goes for sympathy flowers. Like birth, death is unpredictable and you never can tell when a loved one will pass away. When you need an urgent flower delivery, you should look for a florist that offers deliveries throughout the week.
