What you need:

  • A selection of fresh blooms

  • Glitter in colours that will suit the colours of your flowers

  • Flower-safe glue

  • Glitter pen

  • Newspaper

  • Cotton buds

Steps to follow:

  • This flower craft is fairly simple. Of course, you will need to take your time and exercise patience. Each flower will need to be separated so that you can work on them one at a time.

  • Line your work surface with some newspaper to protect it from that sticky glue.

  • Place some of your glue on a cotton bud and dab it on the flower petals.

  • Sprinkle your glitter over the flower. You can do this over a bowl so that you can catch any excess glitter easily.

  • Gently tap the flower above this bowl to get rid of any excess glitter.

  • Place the flower in a glass with water to dry. Each glass should be able to hold about three or four stems.

  • Proceed with the rest of your stems. You might not like to do this with every flower but rather a few focal flowers.

  • Once the glue has dried, you can touch up your work with the glitter glue pen.

Once all of your stems are done, you can arrange your flowers as you wish in a vase and enjoy! This flower craft is fairly straightforward and you will find that your flowers will look that much more amazing especially during the evening when the room is dimly lit and the light causes the petals to shimmer and shine.
