Tickets for Chelsea Flower Show reaching a whopping £300 as demand soars

It has emerged that tickets to this year’s Chelsea Flower Show are being sold off at up to six times their retail value. Tickets for the 2012 show were sold out in record time last week and tickets are now passing hands for as much as £300 each.  Internet searches for the tickets outstrip popular rock bands such as Coldplay by 5-1. The high demand for these tickets is resulting in very overinflated price tags.

The interest in tickets for the flower show  is still one of the country’s most popular events, with the weather and economics of the country not affecting its allure.

Organisers of the show have advised not to buy tickets unofficially as any tickets that aren’t genuine will be refused enter. The RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) charges just £45.00 for all day passes.

The public’s passion for gardens and gardening is shown by the demand for tickets this year and The Chelsea Flower Show is set to make one of the best events of the summer.
