Children Make Union Jack Flag from Flowers
A number of pupils from a school in Cumbria have made a union jack flag created entirely from flowers. This was done to celebrate the Queen’s 60 year reign on the throne.
Almost 50 children helped put this spectacle together. The children (aged 4 – 11) said that we wanted to make a flag so big that it can be seen from the skies. Measuring nearly 7 meters by 5 meters, it is a large flower flag.
This is definitely something different for the jubilee. Well done to the pupils!
