Realtors can spoil clients too

If you are in the real estate business, you will know that buyers, sellers, and renters all go through a fair amount of stress. Whether buying, selling, or renting a property, the process can sometimes prove time-consuming and there might be a few frustrating hurdles along the way. This is all the more reason to invest in your relationships with your clients once the deal is done.

Many realtors simply get their clients to sign and then they consider their job done. There is one more thing that you can do, as a realtor, to ensure that your clients are happy and make sure that they are more willing to recommend you to their friends and family. Take it all a step further by sending a gift hamper to the new tenants or home owners!

Depending on how well you have managed to get to know your clients during their search, you can take note of things like their food and beverage preferences. If they have a sweet tooth, you should make a note of this too. This will make it that much easier to choose a gift hamper that will suit their preferences!

If, despite your best efforts, you still do not know what your clients enjoy, the safest bet is always a fresh fruit hamper. Fresh fruit is nutritional and it will add some lovely colour to the home as well. Consider yours to be their first house warming gift!

Alternatively, fresh flowers or a potted plant are also great ideas. Make sure that, no matter what you choose to send, you include your best wishes and your name as well as the name of your estate agency. Even though their home might be empty, your gift will make it feel that much more welcoming! Don’t forget to find out when they are expect to move in so that you can plan accordingly. If you want to play it safe, you could have the gift delivered after you have confirmed that they have moved in.
