The Man’s Guide to buying flowers
This article is for all men who know they need to buy their loved ones flowers but are never sure which bouquet is the correct bouquet to buy. There are many varieties of bouquets out there with different colours, shapes, textures, sizes and of course different flowers. So if you like many others need help selecting the correct bouquet then read on.
When buying bouquets of any kind you need to follow a few simple rules:
- Be Spontaneous: Women are used to receiving bouquets of flowers on their birthdays and on Valentine’s Day. As soon as you forget to buy flowers on these occasions they notice right away. However sending bouquets on random days of the year for no reason other than showing the recipient how much you love them is a very clever idea.
- Get more flowers for your money: As in all walks of life, the price of something will increase when there is a higher demand. The same is said for flowers, for example roses will be more expensive at Valentine’s Day than in the middle of autumn. The rose is a great flower to give at any time of year and giving the roses in the summer time is a great gesture but also saving you money at the same time.
- Don’t forget about anyone: A bouquet of flowers can mean anything. Whether you are sending them as a romantic gesture or being friendly or maybe something in-between. There is an occasion when all the people in your life can be sent flowers. A wife or girlfriend will be delighted to receive the flowers but so will your mother, sister, grandmother and other female friends.
Before sending the bouquet you need to make sure you know what the receiver would like in an arrangement of flowers.
- Find out what colour the receiver of the flowers likes and what her favourite flowers are and try and mix the two together.
- Never send a bouquet of flowers on their own. Always try and send a gift at the same time such as chocolates or jewellery.
- Flowers are a perfect way to show love and if you have feelings for someone then send them a bouquet of the loveable roses.
- The red rose is probably the most important love symbol in the world today. Make sure you send these to the woman of your dreams to show how passionate you are about them.
- The flowers you have chosen may not be of your liking but it isn’t about you at this stage. It is all about what the receiver wants. So make sure you get the bouquet as perfect as possible before sending it.
If you follow all these rules then sending flowers will become enjoyable instead of boring and you may get a liking for it.
