No matter what stage of your relationship you are currently in, romance is always an important part of keeping that flame burning. For new couples, this is usually quite easy but, as time goes by, you become more comfortable. Comfort can result in complacency which can mean that you unintentionally forget to kindle that fire from time to time. Fortunately, there are plenty of amazing romantic flowers that can help you do just that. Here are some great arrangements and when you should consider choosing them for your partner or spouse.

12 Red Roses

Red roses are the floral definition of passion and romance. If you are serious about your partner and you want to let them know just how much you love them, a dozen red roses will certainly do the trick. For new relationships, this bold declaration might be a little overwhelming but, the good news is that there are many other options for newer relationships too.

Tulips

Tulips are available in various colours and, while red tulips are extremely romantic, you can also choose many other colours too. One great idea is to opt for a dark and light purple tulip bouquet or even a mixed arrangement that includes at least four or five different colours like pink, yellow, white and purple.

Daisies

If you are in a new relationship, daisies are an excellent choice. They are thoughtful yet not overly romantic. They have a sense of innocence about them and larger varieties like gerbera daisies and germinis are available in various bright colours. They can be displayed on their own or paired with other blooms like roses and alstroemeria.

Lilies

Lilies are the symbol of virtue, devotion and humility. When you send lilies during the beginning stage of your relationship, it is a symbol of good luck. Apart from their beauty, lilies are also known for their sweet scent.

Carnations

Beautifully hardy and available in various colours, carnations are perfect for romantic flowers expressing love and your fascination for the recipient. They can be displayed on their own or paired with other blooms like alstroemeria, statice and even chrysanthemums.

If you know your partner well enough, you can also consider sending a bouquet of their favourite blooms. If you do not know what their favourite type of flower is but you do know that they prefer a specific colour, then a bouquet in their favourite colour will certainly make them smile.
