Party flowers for any event

When you host a party, no matter how many guests you plan on inviting, it’s important to make sure that you decorate the venue accordingly. Here are a few ways of using flowers to improve the décor and create the perfect them for any event.

One of the main things to consider is adding centrepieces to each table. Remember that your centrepieces should either be placed on raised stands so that your guests can see one another. Alternatively, they should be short enough so that your guests can see over them. If you don’t have much space on the tables for décor, you can use tablescapes instead. In other words, instead of one large bouquet per table, you could use several bud arrangements and other decorative items to create the perfect design effect. For soft lighting, consider votive candles and, if you want to add some extra colour, you can scatter some bright petals around the base of the candle for good measure.

Apart from the dining tables, you will also need to decorate your buffet table if you are serving a buffet meal. Make sure that your florist uses safe flowers and foliage since they will be close to the food and you don’t want any flowers with toxic properties nearby.

Each place setting can benefit from some extra colour too. You can achieve this by choosing floral napkin rings and place cards. Use fresh or artifical flowers to decorate each napkin ring. For the place card, you can also use fresh or silk flowers or you could even print flower images, cut them out and add them to each place setting.

If you want to impress your guests and make their mouths water when they see the cake, then you should consider adding fresh or silk flowers as décor. These flowers should be similar to those you use to decorate the venue but they need not be identical. Ask your baker for suggestions.

Remember, flowers are just a part of your décor and it’s important to choose the right tablecloths, napkins, seat covers, and other accessories to make it all come together perfectly.
