Flowers for Father’s Day

Fathers Day is all about letting Dad know that you care and you value all of his love and support over the years. This is why it’s so important to treat him to just the right gifts for this occasion. When people think about flowers, they often imagine presenting them to a female recipient. Flowers are no longer a gift designed for women. There are some great options for men – even the strongest and toughest of all!

Firstly, think about something your father likes. If he is a beer drinker, you could have your florist create a beer-inspired flower arrangement. Find a large vase that resembles a beer glass or buy a beer mug and fill with yellow gems. The shade of yellow should be a bit darker – similar to the colour of beer. Fill the vase or mug with water and then top it off with some highly texture white blooms. Some examples include carnations and chrysanthemums. The yellow gems or stones represent the beer and the white flowers are the white foam on top! Dad can enjoy the floral display and, once the flowers eventually perish, he can put the beer mug to good use or he can use the vase to hold something like his collection of golf balls.

Another option is to choose a cactus or succulent plant for Dad to display in his office or den at home. These plants are easy to care for and they will never be seen as feminine in any way. Some cacti even produce flowers from time to time so they can add some interesting design aspects to his work environment.

Remember, florists usually offer more than just flowers. When shopping for flowers for Father’s Day, you should also take note of any other extras you could include. These are such items as champagne, luxury chocolates, and even bright balloons. It’s all about making Dad feel special!

If your florist does not offer flower delivery on Sundays, you should have his gift delivered the day before. Even if Sunday delivery is an option, you cannot always tell what time the florist delivery person will arrive. If you need to store flowers overnight, make sure that they are placed in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and presented to Dad as soon as you have the chance! Don’t forget to spend some extra time with Dad on this special day – it’s all about making him your number one priority for the day!
